Hi,

In my standard demo file, I used a simple way to call the plugin:

<script type="text/javascript">

$(window).load(function() {

$('body').materialstart();

});

</script>

So it can't open content via URL param. To open content via URL param you need to add a Javascript param "AutoShow:true" to the calling script. Example:

<script type="text/javascript">

$(window).load(function() {

$('body').materialstart({

AutoShow:true

});

});

</script>

Now you can open MaterialStart content via URL param (mdscontent=ContentID).

Example: In my standard demo, you can open Hidden ListView content via link: materialstart-standard.html?mdscontent=simple-photo

For other content, you can do the same, just find data-contentid value of the panel you want to open and add it to "mdscontent" param on URL.

Kind regards.

My sincere apologies for not replying sooner BUT I thought you had an Email Ticket Reply :(

Your kind & detailed reply will help me very much I'm sorry for being so old & lacking BUT I do have an amazing suggestion.

I've followed you for sometime now & like what you are doing & where you are going with panels etc.

Could your use the open source code from the product below to produce a similar but much simpler SOHN version?

I ask because the author gave up over a year or so ago & I believe it's got incredible potential for a person with your skills & vision

Thanks. Your link is useful for me. I am researching a same panel idea.

12-Mar-2015 12:50:32

I'm pleased you like the idea...I followed Kaiten as it grew & grew BUT sadly the genius idea never took off & François Dispaux got rid of his team & he now does other interesting things.

Kaiten has great potential as I've said BUT my old head can't create any connectors which I was told was simple ;(

I hope you will "eat it" & create something that I could use :)

I'm sure you've found the link that I forgot to add last time...

You are a good man SOHAN many thanks...You've made an excellent decision BECAUSE with your panel knowledge etc, skills & vision you will make it very popular & essential to many developers.

I'm writing to ask.... if you have had any time...to look at the 'great idea' to try & apply it...to your next panel?

Also do you have in any time-frame for selling it?

Keep safe...Keep well & be lucky SOHN

I have just released the MaterialStart panel plugin so I need time to collect feedbacks before releasing a new panel plugin. Usually, it needs few months at least.
