Hello team,
we have a problem on IOs with the Chrome-Browser. We are using backstretch to resize the images. http://srobbin.com/jquery-plugins/backstretch/. The images will not display in the right format. You can see it here: http://www.integrationmatters.com. Maybe you have an idea, why this is happen. I will also get in touch with the developer of backstretch.
Greetings
Daniel Nilges
Hi Nilges,
Because ScreenSlider plugin has already had a function that resizes background images so if you use another script to resize the images it may cause conflicts.
In your case, I tried to remove some lines in your page:
$("#sl2").backstretch("/files/theme/imred/img/bg/original/bg-slider-2.jpg");
$("#sl3").backstretch("/files/theme/imred/img/bg/original/bg-thomas-frank.jpg");
$("#sl4").backstretch("/files/theme/imred/img/bg/original/bg-04.jpg");
$("#sl5").backstretch("/files/theme/imred/img/bg/original/IM_Webex.jpg");
Then, images displayed fine.
Kind regards.
Hi,
I have the lines apart and looked at the page. The images are now displayed unfortunately distorted. For this reason, we have used Backstretch to prevent this from happening. Is it possible to disable resizefunction?
regards
Daniel
Hi,
If you want to disable Resize function in ScreenSlider you need to make changes in "screenslider.dev.js" file. In the js file, you can search the function name: slRenderImg().
Then replace:
function slRenderImg() { $setSize = slResizeImg($slimgbgs.attr('src'));
slBgStyleObj = {
width: $setSize.width,
height: $setSize.height,
top: $setSize.top,
left: $setSize.left
}
$slimgbgs.css( slBgStyleObj );
}
by:
function slRenderImg() { /* $setSize = slResizeImg($slimgbgs.attr('src'));
slBgStyleObj = {
width: $setSize.width,
height: $setSize.height,
top: $setSize.top,
left: $setSize.left
}
$slimgbgs.css( slBgStyleObj );*/
}
Kind regards.
